Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of Our Services
Vnayka Ventures LLC provides custom software development and consulting services. Because our work is bespoke — designed and built specifically for each Client — it cannot be “returned” in the way a physical or off-the-shelf product can. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work given that reality.
2. Deposits and Upfront Payments
Many engagements require a deposit before work begins, as specified in the applicable Statement of Work. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. If a Client cancels before any work has started, the deposit will be refunded in full within ten (10) business days.
3. Hourly Engagements
For time-and-materials engagements, Clients are billed only for work completed. A Client may cancel an hourly engagement at any time with reasonable written notice. No refund is issued for work that has already been delivered and accepted.
4. Fixed-Price Projects
For fixed-price engagements, if a Client cancels mid-project, the amount due is calculated on a pro-rated basis according to the percentage of milestones delivered and accepted at the time of cancellation. Any amount already paid in excess of the pro-rated fee will be refunded within ten (10) business days of the cancellation date.
5. What Is Not Refundable
- Work that has been delivered and accepted by the Client.
- Consulting calls or advisory sessions that have already been held.
- Third-party costs paid on the Client's behalf (cloud services, software licenses, stock assets, domain registrations, etc.).
- Non-refundable deposits once work has commenced, as described in Section 2.
6. Dispute Resolution
If you believe an invoice is incorrect or you are dissatisfied with delivered work, contact us at vnaykaventures@gmail.com within fourteen (14) calendar days of the invoice date. We will work in good faith to resolve the issue.
Clients agree to contact us before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with their financial institution. Unjustified chargebacks may result in termination of the engagement and recovery of amounts owed.
